We spent the second weekend of May at a racecourse. The weather was beautiful, and we were excited to see how our girls would perform. They both did very well, but I had to run alongside Juli a bit until she understood that she needed to chase the lure and not wait for me :-) Kate, on the other hand, showed her natural hunting instincts. She was so excited about the lure that I had to hold her tightly to prevent her from running off with the other dogs. She completed her solo run to qualify for her race license.

Druhý květnový víkend jsme strávili na kolínské dostihové dráze. Počasí vyšlo nádherně, takže jsme se těšili, jak to bude holkám běhat. Šlo jim to parádně, jen s Julinkou jsem musela vždycky běžet taky kousek, než pochopila, že má honit střapec a nečekat přitom na mě :-) Zato Kate projevila lovce se vším všudy, byla ze střapce tak nadšená, že jsem ji musela hodně držet, aby neběžela s každým psem na startu. Vyběhala si tak solo běh pro získání dostihové licence.
